KuGou/KuGoo
As a banana guy like me, it is very hard to download Chinese songs. I always find it hard to download Chinese songs as most of the download site nowadays is in mandarin. So what I do is to just go to ‘Pasar Malam’ and purchase a mp3 cd. Purchasing the mp3 cd is also a headache for me as I can’t read mandarin either.
Today I discover the power of China software as I get to know that china people is using this software to hear and download mp3 – KuGou. Ya… I know I am nutz as I just discover it today. Ya… I know some of the people had been using it since century ago. But I still want to share it to someone who is same side as me where we are banana too and we are not alone.
First of all go to download.kugou.com. If you are banana like me please do not care all the wordings and just click on download button. After the entire download and the installation then you are ready to use this powerful software.

I do recommend some setup before using this software. Just to take note that since this is a p2p application you must do some setting so that this software will not use up all your bandwidth. Right click on the player select ‘选项设置’ then click on ‘网络设置’. I modify my setting to the setting as below.
Bandwidth Modification
I will comment some of good functions that available in this software. If you need to search for songs you can use the right search function. For example I want to search for Justin song so I search for ‘側田’. All his song in this p2p list will show out.

So I test play so select which song I need to download by clicking on ‘Headphone’ icon. Finally if this is the song that I want to hear so I click on ‘Down’ icon to download. After that if you need to see the lyrics it will auto search for you.

i can’t seem to download it either
i went to the site and clicked the download button but it said website not found.
are there any special settings you have to set your computer to?

Hi, I know this software. it’s really great to use. I had used it but not in my computer. so today, i was trying to download it but it’s always “internet cannot..” blank page in short everytime i clicked the download bar.

i’m interested about this cool software like these but the problem is its only chinesse language, is there any english program like this and is there a english song that can be download?please let me know cause i find it interesting by the way i’m american working here for some short time,,thanks

tekken05 -> Yes, this program only available in Chinese version only. I do not know Chinese also but I just tried to familiar with the buttons. You are able to download English songs too but it depending on is there any people sharing the songs. Hope this information would help you.

hey man,.. im using that before! now got a problem in reading chinese character. seems thats not the problem of my language pack. coz, some can be read and some in kugou program are missing. is there any idea bout it?

S’10 -> I had the same problem to some of my chinese software too. But during the time I am at China, I am using Windows XP for Chinese everything seems work fine.

Hi Eileen, I didn’t use it for a long time as once I back to Malaysia this software is no longer useful as it is very slow. As I know if you have problem with the song name ?????, you need to install chinese supported windows.
